Two landmark album are getting or have just  been given the special “de luxe” treatment!

First up MARVIN GAYE’S ‘Let’s Get It On’ has just been re-issued in the “de -luxe” format. The release is to mark the 50th anniversary of the original issue and Motown/Ume tell us that initially it is a digital only release – but with 33 bonus tracks – 18 of them previously unreleased. There are also CD, vinyl and Blue Ray lined up but those iterations might  not feature all the bonuses. Worth checking!

Secondly PRINCE’S ‘Diamonds And Pearls’ also wins a makeover. This October 27th, Paisley Park Enterprises, in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment and Warner Records, will reissue the album (the man’s 13th which yielded six massive hits)  via all physical, digital, and streaming partners, with the classic album remastered for the very first time, and featuring 47 previously unreleased tracks, as well as a previously unreleased 2+ hours of video concert performances from Prince’s legendary vault.
