Thinking beyond Christmas, the first week in January sees the annual BLACKPOOL LUXURY SOUL WEEKENDER. Next year’s fab fest feature the usual line up of top jocks plus live performances from Incognito, Maysa and Chris Ballin and as ever Expansion Records will be releasing the tie-in album ‘Luxury Soul 2019’.
The new instalment offers three CDs chocked full of quality, in demand worldwide soul music and amongst the goodies is a wonderful tune from the ever-dependable Victor Haynes. His offering is the Bobby Womack-flavoured ‘Hopping, Skipping, So In Love’. The collection also features a classic ROCKIE ROBBINS cut that will precede a brand new Rockie single and album coming in the Spring on Expansion.
