J Records and Legacy Recordings have announced they will be releasing a deluxe digital release of LUTHER VANDROSS’ classic live album , the one he recorded at two sold-out shows at New York’s famous Radio City Music Hall on February 11 and 12, 2003. Sadly they were to be the great man’s last live performances but, for posterity, much of the music was issued on ‘Luther Vandross – Live Radio City Music Hall 2003’ in the autumn of that year
To mark the 20th anniversary of Luther’s final shows, J/Legacy are releasing an expanded edition featuring the full concert, with the setlist restored to original concert order and, we’re told “Luther’s on-stage banter providing insight into his personality, sense of humour and commitment to his audience and his songs.”
