We first came across California-based singer, songwriter LISA LOVE last year when she featured on Binky Womack’s ‘The Last Valentino’ album. She duetted with Mr W on their cover of Curtis Mayfield’s ‘Let’s Do It Again’ and Lisa added sweet, femme shadings to Binky’s gritty, definite Womack style vocals.
Now Lisa steps out in her own right with a tight, soul dancer ‘A Thousand Kisses’. It’s not a cover of the old Will Smith tune, which, if you remember, quoted Luther’s ‘Never Too Much’ and on her song Lisa almost quotes it too…. “a thousand kisses is never enough”. Interesting and out now!
