We’re delighted to report that self-proclaimed “independent musical mixologist” SIR SPENCER (Craig Sullivan) is setting up a new single for September 22nd release. However, the cut isn’t entirely “new” – it’s a reworking of his own ‘Love Is Taking Over’ which first appeared on our man’s ‘The First’ album.
The new version of ‘Love Is Taking Over’ profits from input from music multi tasker Jason Peterson DeLaire (in his career Jason has worked with people like Donny Osmond, Michael Bolton, Richard Marx, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Oleta Adams, Bobby Brown, and Alexander O’Neal!) Jason takes the vocal and plays some mellifluous sax to add to the sensual vibe. Keeping it in the family, ex Prince band member, St. Paul Peterson plays bass and adds BVs.
This new ‘Love Is Taking Over’ is a quality cut – sitting sweetly on the cusp of sophisticated soul and smooth jazz!
