NEW WORLD ORDER (or NWO) is a new(ish) soul band comprising Lenny Harris, Gilbert Pryor and Wondel Brown. The threesome came together in 2016 via their mutual passion for artists like Earth, Wind and Fire, Sly and the Family Stone, and James Brown. Though given their name, they must have a love of Curtis Mayfield too… ‘New World Order’ is/was the title of the Gentle Genius’ last album!
The trio are music biz veterans and between them (and as a unit) they’ve worked with people like Lena Horne, Barry White, Gladys Knight, Aretha Franklin, The Four Tops, the Temptations, Miki Howard and Chante Moore!
For their latest single they’ve teamed up with THE TERRI GREEN PROJECT (Terri, of course and collaborator Torsten Abrolat). Their tune is ‘Lost Inside Your Love’ – a classy slab of modern soul that (like the very best of that genre) manages to offer old school panache with a totally contemporary vibe! It’s a big tune in every way and Terri’s in her usual fine form… little wonder that ‘Lost Inside Your Love’ is already on rotation on all the best soul stations and scaling all the credible soul charts.
