London music multi tasker SHAUN ESCOFFERY returns to his roots with the release of a powerful new single, ‘Hope’.
Shaun, of course, is something of a Brit soul vet with a string of successes to his name. More recently, though, he’s been kept busy in the West End starring in a number of acclaimed shows – most notably playing Mufasa in Disney’s ‘The Lion King’.
Now he’s back to making music in his own right and, teamed up again with writer and producer Gil Cang, he’s just released ‘Hope’. This one’s a powerful piece of work – one of those cuts that really does need quite a few plays before you get the full impact and message. It goes without saying that Mr. E’s in top, dramatic form and we believe that the track will be included on an 18-track expanded digital version of Shaun’s ‘In The Red Room’ album, 10 years on from its original release.
