LILY LANE (real name Lily Halpern) is a US singer/songwriter who since debuting in 2010 has made a name for herself via her live performances and appearance in things like ‘Pretty Little Liars’.
She describes herself as a “dark pop princess and alliterative artist” and apart from her music/acting career she’s also an outspoken advocate for body positivity, women and LGBTQ rights, describing her status as “bicoastal and bisexual”.
Intrigued? Well, you may want to investigate her latest single – a soulful meander ‘I Do’. The song, Lily tells us, was written the day after she was proposed to and narrates her very own love story. “I was anxious about the idea of speaking in front of people at the wedding, I’m much better at singing and performing than I am at public speaking.”
As with all the best “wedding songs”, this one is intimate and a wonderful showcase for M L’s warm, honey-toned vocals which are supported by sweet harmonies. Out now!
