Amongst last year’s soul album highlights was TOM GLIDE’S ‘Divas Got Soul’ project and amongst the set’s highlights was the STEPHANIE COOKE vocalised ‘Light Up The Sky’. That particular tune has just come out as a single and it’s already seeing plenty of action.
There are 6 remixes (at the last count). One is a-cappela; another simply offers “the beats” and there’s not a lot to choose between the rest. Each offers varying degrees of soulful house pleasure and with Monsieur Glide at the controls throughout you know that the groove is both classy and contemporary.
