‘Life, Love And Inspiration’ is the title of a new album from US soul singer, ERICA JOHNSON. The album is garnering plenty of plays on soul radio for it’s no nonsense, no gimmicks take on the contemporary soul genre.
Ms Johnson debuted back in 2006 with an album ‘Reach For Your Dreams’ which was followed four years later by an EP (‘Today’).
After a long, long wait she’s just self-released ‘Life, Love And Inspiration’ – a collection of original songs and just one cover – a version of Bill Withers’ ‘Lovely Day’ which is given an unusual treatment – almost broken beats, but not quite! The album’s out now and is recommended; evidence here that quality comes before quantity!
