It was back in September when Swedish piano man MATTIAS ROOS released a fine 10 track , smooth jazz LP, ‘Cali Dreaming’. The release was well received and won attention from some of the contemporary soul crowd who knew Roos from his work with JD’s Time Machine and his collaborations with soul/jazz guitar maestro, U-Nam.
The music on the album was bright, breezy and optimistic and all three of those flavours are in abundance on the track ‘Fast Lane’ which has just been released as a stand alone single. Mattias’ keys sparkle and the guitar parts (rhythm and lead) come via U-Nam. ‘Fast Lane’ is out now via Sky Town Records.
