NYC musician DREA PIZZICONI is also a renowned empowerment activist and right now she’s busy promoting her latest single ‘Let Us Dance’ – the profits from which will go to support the Campaign For Female Education’s (CAMFED) work to educate girls in Africa.
Ms P says: “Education is a basic human right and there is no better investment in our world’s future, than the investment in a girl’s education. But the barrier for women to reach our potential remains high. I wrote this song for all the girls out there who won’t give up and want to tell the world “Get ready…we’re coming.”
But what of the tune? Well, it’s a shifty, moody, intriguing piece of work with challenging lyrics (as you’d expect). Helping Drea deliver are rapper Maimouna Youssef and The Dap-Kings Horns and the tune is good to download now!
