Latest release from LOS CHARLY’S ORCHESTRA (Aka Juan Laya & Jorge Montiel) is an energized musical homage to Latin fusion culture and its superstars – ‘Nuyorican Disco’. From La India, to the Masters at Work and beyond…. ‘Nuyorican Disco’, ‘Nuyorican Soul.’

Los Charlys deliver ‘Nuyorican Disco’ in two mixes – the original and a“Neo Latin” mix along with their  respective instrumentals All 4 offerings are  funky and percussive disco workouts building to crescendos  and featuring outstanding trumpet from Eikel Venegas who helps conjure  the ballroom style of 70’s Latin New York. Also helping out are famed Colombian percussionist, Emeris Solis and singers Andre Espeut and Osvaldo Chacon. All four mixes were produced by Juan Laya & Jorge Montiel

‘Nuyorican Disco’ by Los Charly’s Orchestra featuring Andre Espeut and Osvaldo Chacon is released digitally on Imagenes Recordings on November 25th.
