UK soulstress SHAILA PROSPERE won friends with her first long player, ‘In My Shoes’ and right now she’s working on the follow-up. To get us all ready, the album is heralded by a sweet single, ‘Let Me Be Your’s’.

The song was penned by Shaila in tandem with Everis Pellius and Phil Phillo (Full Crew/Soul Syndicate) and the whole thing is a heartfelt throwback to the 80s. The special “Soul Syndicate Remix” is even more 80s than the original. Listen in and you should hear little bits of Cheryl Lynn’s ‘Encore’ and Curtis Hairston’s ‘Morning After’…. a tasty, potential floor filler.
