You may remember earlier this year a brace of great soul cuts from Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter, Juanita Wynn. The ex gospel singer was particularly outstanding on ‘Let It Go’ and at the time we learned that her CV boasted work with people like Lalah Hathaway, Destinys Child, Angie Stone and Diana Ross.
Right now Juanita’s working with D’Wayne Wiggins (yes of Tony! Toni ! Tone! and Lucy Pearl) on a project with Oakland based soulstress DEE DEE SIMON. The current single is an emotion tugging ballad – ‘If I Leave You’ . Ms Wynn says: “‘If I Leave You’ is a modern day soul gem.
