Aged just 16 London sax man, JOE LEADER won the “Daily Telegraph Young Jazz Awards” and went on to study music at London’s Guild Hall School of Music and then at the University of Cape Town.
Joe boasts a diverse professional CV, having worked with Andrew Lloyd Webber, Pharrell Williams, Boyzone’s Stephen Gately and The Symphony Orchestra of India but at the moment he leads a 20-piece showband, called “The Joe Leader Collective”.
Late last year he wowed American holiday makers on the Annual Smooth Jazz Cruise playing songs from his acclaimed ‘Seductive Sax’ album and on returning to the UK he sold out the Soho Jazz Club.
Next week Joe’s back in the capital when he performs on Tuesday 26th & Wednesday 27th August at The Pheasantry Jazz Club, Pizza Express, Kings Road, Chelsea. We’re told that the show will take the audience “on a heartfelt journey through Joe’s musical philosophy, history and favourite songs. “
