Neo soul singer/songwriter NOA LAURYN (below) is a new name to us but we’ve learned she’s a rising star on the vibrant Amsterdam soul scene.
Born and raised in the Dutch capital, Noa grew up the daughter of two musicians and the family home was always filled with the sound of soul and hip-hop… so a music career seemed a no brainer!
Noa made her recording debut last year with the album ‘Coin Collection’ on which Candy Dulfer guested. Right now Ms L’s working on a new EP due next April. In the meantime, we can enjoy the set’s lead single – a sultry, languid neo-soul groove, ‘Layers of Time’. This one’s gentle, harmonic and captivating and shows why young Noa is making such big waves in and around Amsterdam. We’re looking forward to her EP!
