One of last year’s most intriguing soul sets was KYLIE AULDIST’S ‘Made Of Stone’. Now two of that LP’s best cuts have been given the remix treatment. The lovely ‘In A Week In A Day’ gets two beguiling tweaks – with ASHLEY BEEDLE’S STREETSOUL EDIT just shading it over the PTH PROJECTS AMNESIA MIX. There are two new looks at ‘One Goodbye’ too and both the FLEVANS REMIX and the HINT MIX are big and ultra percussive. The mixes can be found on a special 12″ from Tru Thoughts, though both the ASHLEY BEEDLE and FLEVANS reworkings are also on a new Tru Thoughts compilation – ‘Shapes 10 -01’ which will be commercially available from April.
