Looking back at 2014 one of the big albums amongst soul connoisseurs was without doubt KINDRED THE FAMILY SOUL’S ‘A “Couple” Friends’. The killer track on the album was the ab fab, Philly-flavoured ‘Never Loved You More’ and the little gem’s just been given a discreet makeover by none other than DJ Spinna. His ‘The Game Is Tied’ remix stays on the soulful side of soulful house and like the original, it’s a great head nodder!
Sadly, the tweak is not officially available as yet… but who knows? In the meantime though, why not revisit the lovely original (you know you won’t regret it) and if you’ve not got the album to do that…. you really do need to get on the case!
