STEVEN BAMIDELE is UK singer/songwriter of mixed race heritage. Born in Nigeria, his family moved to the UK when he was a youngster and, spending his formative years in Suffolk, before moving to Brighton, he knows a thing or two about prejudice. However, the best advice he got from his father was to “Keep your head down” and that advice is the inspiration behind Steven’s latest single, ‘Head Down’.
The title is the song’s main hook , played out over insistent beats and, in places, a haunting groove and Steven suggests the song could be an anthem for outsiders and introverts. It’s taken from his anticipated debut album “Summing Up”.
