Good to know that the age of chivalry isn’t dead…. well not according to blue-eyed soul boy, KYLE MAACK. You see ex air force man Kyle (real name Kyle Allen McCarty) has just released his version of the Temptations’ 1984 classic ‘Treat Her Like A Lady’ and what a great job he makes of it!
It was always a great tune and every self-respecting soul fan will forever cherish Ali Ollie Woodson’s great lead vocal, but young Kyle gives Ali a real run for his money.
The cherry on this particular soul cake, however, is the presence of a group called THE TEMPTATIONS on backing vocals! The Emperors of Soul offer their usual impeccable harmonies and like Kyle they sound as if they’re having a whale of a time.
Kyle, whose father was a musician and grew up with the sounds of Philly and Motown, is the protégé of Tempts’ mainstay Otis Williams while Kyle’s godfather is sometime Temptation Bruce Williamson.
