Hailing from Newport, Wales, MARK RUEBERY is setting his sights on 2015 as his breakthrough year. Already big in Indonesia (honest!) and with a CV that includes playing guitar for Ronan Keating and Charlotte Church, and a stint on BBC’s ‘Children In Need’, he’ll be launching his debut album in February. The set’s to be called ‘One Night One Chance’ and the lead single, ‘Her Smile’, is garnering support amongst the swing fraternity.
The song is a feel good, jazzy affair… very much in the style of Michael Bublé. It features lots of tinkling piano and plenty of swinging brass – all topped with an ultra smooth vocal. If Bublé’s your man, it might be worth investigating Mark Ruebery too.
