Though she won’t mind us calling her a “veteran”, it’s only in the last few years that we’ve come to appreciate the talents of Chicago soul singer RAJA-NEE. Her tunes ‘Love In A Groove’ and ‘Come Get This Love’ won her plenty of friends in the UK/European soul communities!
Ms R’s latest single is sure to add to her “friends list”! It’s a sweet mid-tempo ‘Rolling At Midnight’. Written and produced by guitarist Wilfred “Nenja” Frelix, the singer’s experience shines though while with a guitarist in the producer’s chair, you can be sure there are some tasty (if gentle) guitar flourishes throughout the track.
‘Rolling At Midnight’ is out now and we believe it will feature on Raja-Nee’s long-anticipated CD ‘The Sovereign of 14742’ slated for release this year.
