DANNY WATERS, who sometimes works as DJ DANNY, is a Portuguese DJ and producer with a passion for soul and dance. Like many serious musos he’s also a big fan of US soul and jazz stylist, ROBIN McKELLE.
Back in 2012 Danny produced two wonderful remixes of Robin’s ever-lovely ‘Fairytale Ending’ and now he’s just worked his magic on another of her songs – ‘Do You Believe’. Fans will know that the song first appeared on Ms McK’s 2018 album ‘Melodic Canvas’. On that LP , the tracks was broody and provocative in its content. For his mix, Danny ups the ante but the message is as powerful and there’s still a measure of foreboding about the overall atmosphere. Interesting.
