‘What You Need ‘is the new single release from soul and blues man JIMMY REITER. The old school groove is the title cut from Reiter’s upcoming long player – his third. He made his name playing in the road band of US harmonica player Doug Jay, but in 2011 he cut out on his own. Now based in Germany, Jimmy is a mainstay on the European blues festival circuit, peddling his own brand of contemporary Blues music.
We’re told that the new album features eleven mostly original songs and a few covers from the classic R&B treasure trove. On the album, backing is provided by his regular 4-piece band with guest appearances by sax players Amadee Castenell and Sax Gordon.
