Whitney Houston’s version of Sam Dees’ ‘Just The Lonely Talking’ is rightly regarded as one of her treasures and proves (if ever proof was needed) what we have all lost. Now the lovely tune resurfaces in a new version from New Jersey soulstress TESA WILLIAMS. Young Ms Williams isn’t daunted by tackling such a classic always associated with an icon… she simply gives her all and to make it just a little different she’s drafted in Marc Nelson (yes, he of the original Boys II Men line up and son of Phyllis Nelson) to turn the song into a sensual duet that is perfect for those Quiet Storm moments and Valentine tête-a-têtes.
