‘One Of A Kind’ is the sweet and lovely new single from the veteran US soul man who simply likes to be known as MASTA! You may remember his 2019 outings ‘What Am I Supposed To Do’ and ‘I Never Knew’ and ‘One Of A Kind’ offers plenty more of that lovely old school, smooth and sophisticated soul.
The single has been produced by Nolan Shaheed (one time musical director for Marvin Gaye) and he keeps thing simple. No need to clutter things up when you have a lovely tune delivered by a classy singer with a wonderful world-weary voice. The single’s B side by the way is a “Jazz Mix” – essentially the instrumental track – but it has its own attraction! Out now on Uni-Global Records.
