Japan-born, New York-trained, self-proclaimed “progressive” soul singer NAO YOSHIOKA has delivered some interesting music over the last few years, notably her ‘The Truth’ album.
We’re told she’s preparing a new long player from which the first single has just been released. It’s a sweet, soothing, gentle ‘Let It Flow’. It’s classic contemporary neo-soul – never demanding; totally soporific – just let it flow!
The track has been produced by Swizz Beats – so, yes, there’s an Alicia Keys flavour to this one. (Mr Beats has worked plenty with Ms K, of course!)
