B & THE FAMILY, as the name implies, is a family band featuring Brian Morgan and his wife Katie Goulet alongside their children Willa aged 6, Evie aged 14 and Tayla aged 24. Soul anoraks will know that Brian Morgan worked extensively with Kashif back in the day while more recently his family provided the successful ‘Good Time’ which featured in the Disney movie ‘Godmothered’.
The outfit now follow that up with ‘Jam’ – an electro flavoured dance item that has echoes of Zapp, Jam and Lewis and, of course Kashif. Keeping that Kashif link strong, the soaring vocal comes from Howard Johnson who, you’ll remember, enjoyed a huge hit (in his post Niteflyte days) with the Kashif produced ‘So Fine’.
