SYDNEY RANEÉ is an L.A. based soulstress. She impressed last year with her EP, ‘Wake Up And Get It’ from which ‘One Night Only’ became hugely popular dancer and right now Ms R is putting the finishing touches to a follow up EP, ‘Main Girl’.
The mini-album’s lead track, ‘For You’ has just won release. Written and produced by Sydney, the song’s about celebration… “celebrating the skin you’re in, celebrating what makes you unique and beautiful.”
We’re told that Sydney wrote ‘For You’ during the height of the BLM movement in 2020. She felt that the media was constantly sharing negative images of the black community and decided to make a song to highlight what makes us special and beautiful.
