It was back in 2015 that we were introduced to the talents of gospel reared US soul singer CANDACE WOODSON . Her ‘Free’ (not the Deneice Williams’ classic) impressed lots of people and mixes by Tom Glide kept up the interest in Candace. There followed a couple more singles – ‘The Answer Is No’ and ‘My Heart’ –both UK chart riders, and now in time for the Christmas sales rush Ms W has released a brand new single ‘Just A Dream’ – a “dreamy” (!), insistent lazy, groove. Producer is Buddy Wilke and I’m guessing his is the male voice we can hear. Out now.
