SPUR OF THE MOMENT are a USA band who’ve been around for almost 20 years. We last heard from them in 2018 when they were promoting their album ‘N 2 Deep’ which confused some people ‘cos N 2 Deep also happens to be the name of a 90s rap outfit. Spur of the Moments music though isn’t rap – it’s a cross between sophisticated soul and smooth jazz with the little sprinkle of funk here and there.
One of the album tracks was a meandering ballad ‘Between Me And You’ and for reasons never fully explained the band have issued the song with a little tweak here and there as their new single. It features input from Maimouna Youssef and Jon Rych and it’s out now!
