US specialist soul sites are reporting the death of Philly bass player, JIMMIE WILLIAMS. There are few details about his passing.
Jimmie was a member of the O’Jays road band for over 40 years and played on countless Philadelphia International hits – notably ‘Love TKO’ and ‘Ain’t No Stopping Us Now’.
In 2016 he was rightly inducted into the Musicians Hall Of Fame.
