One of 2015’s biggest soulful house anthems was ‘No Regrets’ from L’AMOUR DISCO with vocal from Chicago soul diva, ANDREA LOVE. Now in time for the upcoming big party season, the tune gets several makeovers from some of the newest and most celebrated remix teams… people like BKT, Tekky Vibez and Geekski .
L’Amour Disco is the pseudonym of London based producer/session musician, Markus Williams while Andrea Love is a gospel-reared Chicago singer/songwriter whose CV includes sessions with people like George Duke, Terri Lyne Carrington, Chante Moore, Ledisi, Lalah Hathaway, Rahsaan Patterson, Al Jarreau, Oleta Adams and Frank McComb.
‘No Regrets’ is a big, uplifting tune with each of the new mixes bringing something extra out of it. For instance, the BKT tweak has a Latino flavour, while the Tekky Vibe mix is, yes, a touch techno! Most soulful outing is from Geeski who creates a real 80s weekender party vibe. However, what is important is that each of the new mixes retain all the passion and soulful delivery of Ms Love… shades of the great Ann Nesby!
‘No Regrets (Remixes)’ will be released on promo 20th November / full release 4th December 2015 on La Danse Music.
