Remarkably it’s 10 years since JARROD LAWSON burst onto the soul/jazz scene in the UK . It was in the summer of 2014 and Mr L came over to the UK to play his very first UK shows at London’s Ronnie Scotts Club.
To mark the ten year anniversary, Jarrod’s back in the UK in December for three very special dates…
Mon Dec 2 – Apex Theatre, Bury St Edmunds
Wed Dec 4 – Birmingham Town Hall
Thu Dec 5 – O2 Shepherds Bush Empire, London
For the shows, Jarrod’s band will be Charlie Allen on guitar, Yves Fernandez on bass and Isaac Kizito on drums and the support act will be South East London vocalist STEFAN MAHENDRA and the London horn section, the TRIPLE H HORNS. Mahendra is a soul singer who has performed on national TV on The Voice 2019, reaching the quarter finals. With his band Brown Sugar he went on to open for Olly Murs at the London O2 Arena. The Triple H Horns will also form part of Jarrod’s band,
Says Jarrod: “Stefan is a great vocalist and I’m thrilled he’s going to be joining us for these shows, and I can’t wait to sing with the Triple H Horns as part of my band. They are the best”.
