The title track from JARROD LAWSON’S 2020 acclaimed and chart-topping album has just won remix status. In its original incarnation Mr. L’s ‘Be The Change’ was a sweet, Latin-tinged sophisticated soul shuffle and now in a special MICHELE CHIAVARINI remix it changes gear, moving up into soulful house territory to add a new perspective on the song’s socio/political commentary.
This new ‘Be The Change mix’ is good to go now via Traxsource with full release on May 21st. It comes in a full seven minutes plus tweak and the usual radio edits. Either way, it’s a lovely summery groove that shows that a good song and performance will always be just that!
