Sadly we don’t know too much about US singer/songwriter DEWEY KENMORE. We did though enjoy his 2022 single, ‘Before We Say Goodbye’ – a lovely, lithe blend of blue-eyed soul, West Coast vibes and Latino flavours.
Well, it’s taken a while but Mr K is now releasing a second single – another sweet and lovely cocktail of the ingredients listed above, ‘It’s Never Too Late’. His label’s PR team @ Cosa Records claim that the tune is “sun-drenched, Latin-soul arriving just in time to burn off that winter gloom”. They’re spot on!
Helping Dewey deliver are The Boogaloo Assassins, on background vocal duties They add a little sweetness below Dewey’s raw vocal stylings. Think maybe the Young Rascals. Another summer anthem? I think so!
