SISTER PEARL is a music project shared between acclaimed singer-songwriter Tasita D’Mour and producer Joey Silvero. Their aim is to create a soulful dance sound based around Calypso/Afrohouse vibes.
See if they’ve succeeded by investigating their latest single, ‘Dancing Time’. The cut is powered by infectious Afrobeats, rhythmic chanting, jazzy brass and an invitational vocal from Tasita. The main mix is dubbed “the move your waist” mix – so you get the idea!
