LEXSOUL DANCEMACHINE bill themselves as Estonia’s premier league funk and soul band – and with three albums under their belts, what’s in the grooves backs up that claim!
However, the band have now dropped the “Dancemachine” suffix and just go out as LEXSOUL and the name change has also signalled a change of musical mood as evidenced by their current single – the oddly named ‘Pigeon Pit.’
The cut has a soulful undertow but they prefer to label the sound ‘Yacht Soul” – smooth and sweet, catchy and clever… very pleasant and we believe there’s more on the way with a ‘Lex On The Beach’ EP due in June.
In the meantime, enjoy life in the ‘Pigeon Pit’. It’s out now via Funk Embassy Records.
