Last month we pointed you towards a rather decent modern soul set from AL LINDSEY ….a veteran US soul man who, though born down in Virginia, actually began his singing career in Detroit where his family relocated to.

Album in question we ‘Versatility’ which featured some great ballads like ‘Midsummer Dream’ and ‘Heavenly Thoughts’. The rug cutters however went straight to the tight groove that was ‘Cotton Candy’ and to keep the dancers happy, Al has had the cut remixed and released as a single. In truth it’s not too different to the original album mix –save its some two minute longer…. perfect for the dance floor!
