THE SOUL COMPANY are a Swedish soul band who, we’re told are a major attraction in their native Sweden. Their mission statement is to “live and breathe soul!” and there’s certainly plenty of life and energy in the outfit’s latest single which they’re currently promoting throughout Europe.
Said tune is a rough, tough rollicking ‘Stars And Stripes’ which they describe as “The strive for freedom and to decide over your own body and mind. The song is also a way for us to develop our style and sound and to establish the genre we think sums up what we do, which is soul punk!”.
