Over the last few years the enigmatic PALE JAY has won himself quite a coterie of fans with his unusual music cocktail, that, though, not soul, has, in places, a (blue-eyed) soul undertow.
The man’s last album, ‘Low End Love Songs’ delivered some special moments like ‘Quadris De Ouro’ and the short and sweet ‘Simple Days’. In the modern way Mr Jay has had that very track remixed and added a rap from rhymester, Jev. That adds a full minute to the track – though it’s still short, clocking in at just over two minutes. It’s out now via Karma Chief Records.
