It was last year when we got to know the intriguing, eclectic artist PALE JAY. Keen to keep his identity, origins and influences a secret, his music was by no means traditional soul but it did have a sort of soulful charm and intrigue – most notably on the digital single, ‘In Your Corner’ which eventually became a focus cut on the man’s ‘Bewilderment’ album.
Well it seems that ‘In Your Corner’ has built itself quite a reputation, so the nice people over at Colemine/Karma Chief are issuing it as a vinyl 45. It’s lost none of its charm and we’re told that the B side will be the LP’s title track. This one will be good to go March 22nd but pre-orders are being taken now.
