The US Grammy-nominated blues and soul singer/songwriter BETH HART returns to the fray with a new studio album, ‘Fire On The Floor,‘ released by Provogue Records on October 14th. It’s the 42-year old Los Angeles-born singer’s fourteenth long player of her career but also most diverse and varied album yet, its palette ranging from sweet soul grooves to fiery blues rock, finger-clicking jazz swing and searing blues balladry. The highlights include the effervescent Northern Soul-esque dancer, ‘Let Get Together’ – a delightful summery track which all serious soul fans should investigate immediately – the dreamy mood piece, ‘Coca Cola,’ and the strutting ‘Love Gangster.’
