LARRY BRAGGS is a proper cult soul icon. His reputation amongst the cognoscenti stems from his 14 year tenure with Tower Of Power and a stint with the Temptations. He’s also worked with people like David Sanborn, Bob James Marcus Miller, The Winans and George Duke.
Sadly his solo recording forays are far too few but right now Mr B is readying the release of a new solo EP from which the lead single, ‘Confession’ has just been issued. The cut is a powerful, mid-tempo groove that, unsurprisingly, has the feel of the Temptations’ ‘Jones’’ about it . It’s out now and will delight followers of old school soul.
