While we eagerly await the release of modern Chicano soul outfit, THEE SINSEERS’ upcoming album, ‘Sinseerly Yours’ (above, due March 22nd), their team at Colemine Records have released a second single… a sombre and haunting but soulful and lovely retrophile sound ‘Hold On’.
Lead singer Joey Quiñones belts out the lyric in best, old school pleading form, suggesting that it’s important to remain true to oneself despite the problems life throws at you. Like authentic vintage soul, the track builds to a mighty climax delivering just the right amount of charged emotion that the lyric demands. Out now!
