We’ve not heard from US soul entrepreneur REGI MYRIX for a while, but he now breaks his 2023 duck with a new single – a powerful contemporary soul groove, ’If You Don’t Mind’ which features LAMAR KELSEY.
The recording’s a big production with a retro feel and the song was written and is sung by Mr Kelsey who says that the lyric is about: “asking your girl if she would not mind loving you and letting her know the sweet treats she can expect in doing so”. However, it’s the big sound and soulful feel that’s the real attention grabber here.
It’s released 26th May via Bandcamp and the Myrix Media Group web site. Other platforms will offer it from June 2nd.
