For their latest single, LRK RECORDS continue their dalliance with Canadian soul and more specifically, Canadian soul man GARY BEALS .
In his native Canada Mr. B was runner up in that country’s first season of Pop Idol (2003) and since then he’s released three albums of music inspired by his love of classic soul. He’s currently preparing a fourth long player, ‘The Melody Within’ from which, last July, LRK released the single, ‘All Of Me’ – a classic throwback sound which Gary/LRK now follow with a different kind of soul – a deeper ballad, ‘How Do I Say (I Love You)’.
The song’s message echoes the sonic depth – it’s all about the internal struggle of being torn between the desire to express love and the fear of potential rejection. Gary’s team tell us that the song is an exploration of the universal human experience of love’s complexity and the singer’s delivery is right on point!
