If you’re of a certain vintage, you may well remember London-based soul vocal trio TAKE THREE. Between 1983 and 1985 the girls enjoyed a string of club hits like ‘This Good Feeling’ and ‘I Can’t Get Enough’ but then they kind of drifted off the radar.
However, She Records have “rediscovered” the trio and are preparing a ‘Best of’ collection which will be available soon. In the meantime, they’ve just released a single on the band, ‘1-2-3 Three Steps To Your heart’.
It was originally recorded in 1986 and has that classic mid 80s Brit soul sound and, oddly, its lain in the vaults till now. She Records have remixed it and it’s good to go right now!
