HOLDING UP!

JOE PROBERT hails from Bristol and we  last heard of him via a three track EP, ‘The Nose’ (September ’23).  Musically it was Joe’s original and idiosyncratic take on contemporary soul. He now  follows that with an equally idiosyncratic ‘Hold Up’.

We’re told that the song was penned as a long-distance love song during a period of enforced separation from his significant other – and it’s  literally “long distance”… he started the song in Bristol and finished it in New Zealand where he’s been living for a while!

This ‘Hold On’ is a complex affair – intriguing. Joe, by the way, plays all the instruments. Clever boy! Its released September 2nd via Ramrock.
